The practice was founded in 1945 by Dr. Charles A. Bayshore, who was one of the early pioneers in the development of contact lenses. The Professional Association grew and became Drs. Bayshore, Swanson, Sowers, Lee and Yager. The retirement of Drs. Bayshore, Swanson, Sowers, and Lee leaves Dr. Yager as the remaining partner.
